A friend of mine brought this to show me at a gun show yesterday. It folds for travel and cleaning but functions like a normal Martini for loading, shooting and extraction. It is a purpose made .410 shotgun.

A recent find is a Westley Richards Martini action in  32/40 original not rechambered. I have found reference in a 1911 catalogue to the Sherwood model which could be had in 32/40 instead of .300 Sherwood I have never seen one before as 32/40 was  not a...

I just made up 20 rounds of .297/230 Morris Long for my daughter to use in a Morris Tube. The recipe I have says 3 gr. Unique will give a MV of 900 fps. That should be a safe pressure, since 1200 fps is the black powder velocity. My question is about how...

Took the deer rifle to my father in laws to tune it in before deer season and decided to take my model 6 along to see how well it would do. She's chambered for 22 k hornet and I was using 22 hornet factory ammo with 45 gr bullets. She shot half in groups...

After going Martini-less for a couple of years, Hitch now has two.....Mod 8 and Mod 12 with cherry original BSA bores......and they shoot exceptionally well.  The No. 8 tang sights were hard to come by, but worth the wait!

During the last IMA warehouse scrounge/plunder I was lucky enough to find a fully rifled Morris tube assembly. After some work and frustration I finally got the thing up and shooting. The results were quite surprising. The indoor range lighting is not ver...

I've just picked up a Pieper Martini in 44WCF (44-40) and I'm just a tad concerned that I won't be able to fire it with smokeless loads. It has an octagonal bbl and proof marks on it but I'm not sure what to look for exactly. Will this rifle be up to smok...

Not pleased.  A stupid late nite without checking details. A 32-20 and a 22 hornet.  They looked good in the pictures, that conveniently didn't show 'all' the details.  Cadet rear sight on the 32-20 is nice though. 1.  The 32-20 has a .323 bore; I hop...
